I had gone to school today for reading (parents are invited every Friday to reach books with all the students) and Kai’s teacher asked if I wanted to stay for the assembly because Kai was receiving an acknowledgement award — an offer I could not refuse. So proud of Kai and what a great bonus to start the family weekend.
