At a one of the local parks, there is a soviet-era looking monument, but perfect for Kai to practice his stair runs.

So we haven’t worked out the plans for leaping over a building in a single bound, but Kai certainly aims to someday lift a car over his head, or at least the box that the car came in for this case.  By popular demand (pop-pop loved this video), we bring it to you here.

I had a reputation growing up of taking things apart and never really putting them back together (although now I really do fix things, honestly). Kai seems to have both creation and dismantling skills under his belt.

I was busy in the kitchen today, and when I looked up there was Kai walking 3 steps to the table in his play area.  Shock and awe came over me.  I wish I could replay the original scene, but after a few trials (using bagel insides as bait) I was able to recreate a poor version of the original.  Stay tuned: updates coming soon.

A tour of our suite…

Kai has been giving us the firm handshake for some time now, but mainly it was us who initiated. Now Kai seems to have crossed into the world of self-actualization. I see it, I want it, I grab it. Going to be getting more interesting.
