We had showed up the week before without a reservation and were turned away, and now we know why. Amazing coffee, the best charcuterie/cheese plates in town, and killer cakes. Worth a visit for sure to Pakolat.
Starting as an artist isn’t easy. Kai’s first formal work was commissioned by Chika to decorate a birthday card, and it was an unpaid job (at least directly). But a pretty impressive composition given that he still hasn’t reached 3 yet.
Morning smiles make a great day
We were off for a bike ride with the kids into Treptow Park and took an interesting detour to the Spreepark Berlin, an old amusement park from the DDR days. A classic bit of history for sure.
While Father’s Day in the US is still weeks away, I was surprised to received this when I got home yesterday 🙂
